SAROD 2009 will be held in the capital city of Karnataka state, Bangalore, during 10–12 December 2009. The symposium focuses on recent developments in the area of aerospace vehicle design with emphasis on applied aerodynamics. It is proposed to have a maximum number of participation of Aeronautical Engineering students and faculty and restricted to one each per college. The faculty and student should have interest of design of aerospace vehicles with emphasis on applied aerodynamics. The students should preferably be in the final year and should have distinctive career (topper throughout). Those who wish to participate including student and faculty should have a letter from Head of the Department about the sponsorship from the college. There is no registration fee. Boarding and lodging will be arranged and the participants should attend the symposium from the first day itself. Pick up and drop to the venue will be arranged from the hosts of symposium. Student and faculty should make their own transport arrangement to come to the lodging place. Payment of cost towards travel limited to second class train fare or regular bus (non air conditioned) will be paid. |
